For the past years, faculty and students from the School of Business have been visiting Jamaica to volunteer with small businesses engaged in eco-tourism as a part of ADMN 3336 Special Projects course. The students apply their skills, knowledge and talents to solving management issues.
This February, 11 students and 2 faculty members from School of Business are back to Jamaica to work on new projects with local eco-village company: Fern Forest Eco-Village. Want to follow the students’ adventure? Follow iLEAD 2016 Jamaica Expedition blog, where Nipissing students share their experiences and discoveries.
In 2015, Nipissing students worked on projects with Great Huts Resort on a performance appraisal system. The solutions provided by our students were well received by the company’s management.
